What to Buy

You're new to the pack and you're not sure what you need to get for your scout. Here's a visual shopping list:

First of all, you need the shirt. Buy it big for younger scouts. They'll be needing it for a while.

A segment holder and the center patch for it.  The picture is of a current scout's segment holder with some of the small segment patches affixed to it. And no, you shouldn't buy any of the segment patches. The scouts earn them as they do activities through the year.


You will need the following patches:

• The pack numerals 

• The Gamehaven council patch

• The scout's den patch (unless they are tigers -- tigers get a den number assignments when they move on to Wolf level)

• Optional: The World Scouting Crest

For Tigers (1st Grade):
